Religious Education
We have designed our RE curriculum to enable our children to become open-minded, accepting and respectful individuals. Our curriculum allows for pupils’ spiritual, social, moral and cultural development, as well as promoting British values. We aim to focus on what we can learn both from different religions and beliefs. The curriculum enables children to reflect upon and explore the beliefs, values and ways of life of the six main world religions: Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, Sikhism and Buddhism as well as other religions, faith traditions and world views including the Humanist view. We follow an enquiry-based approach and encourage children to ask questions and take part in discussions. Our curriculum is based on the Norfolk Agreed Syllabus with units developed from the Norwich diocese supporting materials.
